I have not used a shimmery blush on before, so I decided to try the Bloom Powder Blush in Rosebud. I was curious what all the fuss was about, so I bought this particular powder blush at a beauty store here in the Philippines, Beauty Bar. It’s kind of pricey, it’s worth 725 php. The color is specifically a peachy pink shade with a gold shimmer and is similar to the one NARS has (NARS Blush Orgasm).
Pros and Cons
I am not much a fan of the packaging. I hate it how the lid constantly gives me a hard time opening it. It takes me a couple of attempts until I successfully do it without hurting my thumb. The packaging looks kind of dull, too. I hope they could have put on a little something more on the lid. Another thing I do not like about the product is the fact that it does not come with a portable brush. It does not seem to be one of the things I can bring when I travel.
Nevertheless, I am indubitably enthralled with the color, it gives me that undeniable glow whenever I use it. The color is perfect for the summer season and for nights out, but you can always use it any time of the day or whatever the season is. Also, I love the fact that the blush stays on throughout the day despite the fact that my face tends to be oily due to the humid weather in my country. Another thing is that the price is kind of expensive, but you definitely get what you paid for. The quality is worth it.
This is how the Bloom Powder Blush in the color of Rosebud looks like when you put it on.
Having to find cons in buying a product will always be inevitable. No matter how much you like a certain product, you will always stumble upon something that may not please you. Nonetheless, you still got to love the product as long as it gives you what you are looking for. So, yes. Although I despise the packaging that the Bloom Powder Blush has as well as the fact that it does not have a brush with it, I still love having my Bloom Powder Blush around because it gives me the ‘glow’ I am looking for. Also, the color is to die for.
So, I will have to give this a product a score of 7/10. Bloom Powder blush really just has a horrible packaging. It does not come with a portable blush brush. Also, it is kind of expensive. But other than that everything is awesome.
