There’s a very simple trick used in the beauty industry that one of my girlfriend taught me: white eyeliner on your inner lid of your lower lash line to open up the eyes. This eye-opening effect can be emphasized with more pigment around the inner corner of eyes. Metallic colors go very well with smokey eye looks but you can never go wrong with white or a pearlescent nude pink for the everyday look.
The waterline or under eye rim is very delicate area and you’ll need a very smooth pencil for the job. I love Korres Soft Eyeliner Pencil because it is oh so very soft. Absolutely velvety smooth. It glides on, without tugging or pulling you get with cheap, hard pencils. I can imagine how divine this pencil will be in black, blue or purples for smoky eye smudging.
As an under eye rim pencil, Korres Soft Eyeliner has superior softness and quality ingredients. Korres is most known for their skincare. Their makeup line is also infused with very fine skincare ingredients, which makes skincare junkies like myself applaud with approval. Soft Eyeliner is no cheap, frilly pencil branded with an upscale label. Korres made their Soft Eyeliner with high grade skin benefiting oils like Limnanthes Alba Seed Oil, Mangifera Indica Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Chamomile extract. This pencil has Vitamin A and Tocopherol (Vitamin E) as a natural preservative.
I am aware that in the creation of most pencils, especially natural ones, the hydrogenation of oils are unavoidable as process help with the emulsification of oils in room temperature. Korres uses hydrogenated jojoba oil and cottonseed oils but the formula is mineral oil, silicone, propylene glycol and ethanolamine free.
Korres Soft Eyeliner deposits rich pigment in one single stroke. I’m more than impressed with this pencil, which has become part of my makeup staple.
